As project managers and systems consultants, we specialize in the implementation of financial reporting and budgeting and planning systems. Although we had been focusing on implementing ERP systems over the first twenty years in business, our focus is now primarily Financial Reporting, Chart Design, Budgeting and Forecasting. We support DexSplicity (Reporting & Analytics), Adaptive Insights - Adaptive Planning (Budgeting & Reporting) & Adaptive Office Connect (Reporting), BizNet products (Reporting). BizInsight & XL Connect & BizBroadcast, MSXGroup - Prospero (Reporting) and Microsoft - FRx (Reporting).
Lloyd had been the instructor for all public classes offer by BizNet Software, and now his own class offerings. Drawing on previous experience he wrote the classes for Beginning, Intermediate/Advanced BizInsight and BizBroadcast.
Lloyd has also worked for Adaptive Insights, delivering the administrator training classes.
We were founded in 1989 and have successfully completed financial systems implementations for a diverse range of industries including: biotechnology, internet, financial services, multi-national, service, marketing & sales, software development and alternative energy.
Lloyd Kurzweil
Lloyd is the founder, senior consultant and trainer for Kurzweil & Associates, which was started in 1989. He has been in the accounting field since 1977 and received his CPA while working at a CPA firm in New York City. In 1980 he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and started working for Genentech, a leader in Biotechnology. After eight years there (with six different jobs), his favorite accomplishment was implementing Genentech's first in-house accounting and reporting systems. It was then he realized he should focus on systems and started his consulting practice. Lloyd has also been a part-time controller for start-up high tech companies and taught accounting information systems at the University of San Francisco.

Dan Levy
Dan Levy is a senior systems consultant with over 20 years of experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and customization platform. He is an expert in enhancing these systems with Add-On Utilities, Custom Report Writing, Data Optimization and Configuration. Dan helps tailor the product to the needs of the customer.
Dan graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration/Computer Science from Utica College & Syracuse University. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds certifications in Sage 100, Sage PFW and Acumatica. Dan is a licensed provider of Acumatica ERP Software.
Steve Reese
Steve Reese is a Senior Financial Systems Consultant working mainly with Dynamics GP (Great Plains) software, FRx software, Management Reporter, Microsoft Forecaster, and SQL reporting services. After graduating from college he worked in public accounting for 5 years where he received is CPA license, and spent another 4 years in industry then moved onto consulting. Additionally, Steve worked as a consultant and trainer at FRx software. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in accounting and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Jake Kurzweil
Jake is currently working on his PhD in Hydrology at the Colorado School of Mines. He completed his Masters degree in Hydrology in 2017. He also attended University of Oregon graduate (2012) with a double major in Environmental Science and Environmental Sociology. His background has included data analysis relating to scientific research projects, his transition to report writing has been seamless. Jake has been a great asset helping insure projects are completed timely and helps make the Kurzweil & Associates offering very competitive.
